FLOW IT, SHOW IT LONG AS GOD CAN GROW IT! - MY HAIR!

So I had an interview today for a Theatre internship in the city & i wore black jeans and high heels ( which for the record is a bad idea in 90 degree weather & if you have to walk farther than a block) anyway, when i got home i HAD to change. so i put on what i call one of my "hippie" dresses. i have a ton of these.  I only took two photos today but here they are!

Ive always been a fan of hippie/bohemian clothes. BUT one thing that has influenced me has definitely been a musical called "HAIR" .  It's about the Vietnam War and a group of hippies & has a really powerful message along with being just a super fun show. 

 

I saw it about....10 times on Broadway? twisted i know. but i seriously love it sooo much. Here's some of the pics from when i went ( and yes a few times i went in my hippie clothes -- perfect place for it ! ;))

Me & one of my best friends decided to reenact the "Allison Case pose" as we call it. Basically the same pose that's on the poster :P

 

 

All i can say it the people in this cast- both casts that i got to see are nothing short of AMAZING! I'm an aspiring actress and my dream is to be in this show. And these people definitely inspired me. theyre some of the most down to earth & sweet actors i've ever met ( and i do stagedoor for shows a lot!)

So now as i said i have an audition coming up-- It's for the National Touring Company of HAIR! I can't tell you how excited i am to be getting a chance to try out for this show! keep your fingers crossed for me!!
