Dip-Dye shorts

Granted these aren't the most flattering pics in my opinion ( ehh i guess its one of those days) but i just got these shorts from Pac Sun. theyve got a sale on their shorts ( they were $20) i got two pairs plus one i got at the store today. i sized up on the shorts just to make sure they fit ( even though ive got some room in the waist & my legs) but i like them a lot. i also bought a top along with them ( you got it 50% off & i wasn't gonna pass it up). And i got a tank dress that's cobalt blue ( my mom's fav. color) and i'm about to go back for more because i loveeee tank dresses.

And i sadly did not get a response from the HAIR auditions, i wasn't expecting it considering there was over a 1000 people between the two days that they did (and they had a 3rd day for dancers who sang well) . I waited 5 hours to actually audition with some friends, it was the longest ive ever waited but it was fun. BUT good news is i auditioned for another show that night & i'm happy to say i'm going to be apart of the ensemble at a community theatre production of "Ragtime" . it's the first time i'm doing any sort of community theatre & really my first chance at acting outside of when i was in College. So i'm pretty happy :).

FLOW IT, SHOW IT LONG AS GOD CAN GROW IT! - MY HAIR!

So I had an interview today for a Theatre internship in the city & i wore black jeans and high heels ( which for the record is a bad idea in 90 degree weather & if you have to walk farther than a block) anyway, when i got home i HAD to change. so i put on what i call one of my "hippie" dresses. i have a ton of these.  I only took two photos today but here they are!

Ive always been a fan of hippie/bohemian clothes. BUT one thing that has influenced me has definitely been a musical called "HAIR" .  It's about the Vietnam War and a group of hippies & has a really powerful message along with being just a super fun show. 

 

I saw it about....10 times on Broadway? twisted i know. but i seriously love it sooo much. Here's some of the pics from when i went ( and yes a few times i went in my hippie clothes -- perfect place for it ! ;))

Me & one of my best friends decided to reenact the "Allison Case pose" as we call it. Basically the same pose that's on the poster :P

 

 

All i can say it the people in this cast- both casts that i got to see are nothing short of AMAZING! I'm an aspiring actress and my dream is to be in this show. And these people definitely inspired me. theyre some of the most down to earth & sweet actors i've ever met ( and i do stagedoor for shows a lot!)

So now as i said i have an audition coming up-- It's for the National Touring Company of HAIR! I can't tell you how excited i am to be getting a chance to try out for this show! keep your fingers crossed for me!!

Too Many Fish In The Sea To Miss One

So i got this top from Forever 21! ( it came in the mail yesterday along with another shirt which sadly i have to exchange because its too short for me i think) But i want to pair it up with my moto boots and jacket. Then my bowler hat i just added in because i love it so much. 

I don't know if it's my best outfit but i tried. i like it.

I'm not going to lie. this week has been super hard for me. ive been sick & still recovering ( stupid cold!) and I'm still job hunting like a lunatic with no luck in sight yet. Although i have two interviews for Theatre Internships that pay ( which is fantastic) but we'll see how that works.

So here's my look for today. its more casual just because the weathers been kinda shitty here for the past two days, its either down pouring or just miserable out.

Basically with this outfit i stole my dad's beatles shirt ( he's got two of them, ive got about 3 or 4) but i love the bigger size fit. mine aren't like that. and the rest of the outfit is mine. And don't mind the two pics of me in the mirror lol that's just me being a camera whore xD

I was out with my mom for the afternoon, we just drove around and talked cause niether of us wanted to be in the house. WAY too beautiful out to stay in.

Classic Look ( With a Twist) Photos

Here's some of the photos from Todays look. i really wanted to use my heels ( i rarely do so i think i may start) and i just paired it with a button-up, my skinny jeans & my leather jacket along with my mom's chain purse. it's a classic look to me but the color of the shoes & the jacket i think bumped it up a little more.

I took pics with the jacket & without it. personally i liked the jacket with it better. My hair & face look alittle weird today ( ive been sick all week so i'm shocked ive been doing this) . Hopefully you guys like this!
